The idea of beauty has long been associated with fairies, magical creatures often depicted as possessing extraordinary beauty and charm. This is reflected in the famous question asked by the wicked queen in Snow White, „Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?“

Humans have a natural tendency to compare themselves to others, and this is especially true when it comes to physical appearance.
